DOCTORS Co., Ltd., (head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; president & CEO: Takao Yanagawa; hereinafter referred to as “DOCTORS”), which provides one-stop services for the development support, sales, and distribution of digital healthcare services and the platform supporting medical cooperation telemedicine, hereby announces that it will provide Sanin Panasonic Co., Ltd., (head office: Izumo City, Shimane; president: Kotaro Watanabe; hereinafter referred to as “Sanin Panasonic”) with Doctors Station® as the development base for a healthcare support application to implement one-stop services from medical checkup management to medical consultation, cooperation with medical specialists, and treatment in terms of pregnancy, childrearing, and women’s healthcare life, which Sanin Panasonic is developing as its new healthcare business.

This new healthcare support app will integrate the insights and know-how of Sanin Panasonic, which has faced and resolved social issues through its business development rooted in the local community, with the online medical care team, medical DX platform, and medical practice operations of DOCTORS to actualize essential digital healthcare services, which it provides from the perspective of doctors working in the medical front. Thereby, both companies will develop essential healthcare support apps that address the resolution of social issues, such as the declining birth rate in a super-aged society, women’s work styles, and a declining population in the region and contribute to the solutions to issues by promoting the use of such apps to not only various companies and local governments but also general users.

Behind this background, there are many families that feel anxious and isolated about child raising since the environment surrounding pregnancy and child-rearing is severe as the number of children is decreasing according to the declining birthrate. There is also an issue that the environment to balance work and child raising is not necessarily sufficiently developed. In such circumstances, there are many people who cannot make their wishes come true of having a child. Furthermore, as the need to balance work and child raising and nursing care grow, it is important to establish an environment in which women can play more active roles.

To resolve these issues, Sanin Panasonic will simultaneously release both an essential childrearing support application specialized in supporting pregnancy, childbirth, and childrearing, as well as a women support application that can transmit various information, control users’ physical conditions of menstruation, and manage medical checkups specific to women. Meanwhile, DOCTORS, in developing this application, will provide Doctors Station®, a platform to support online medical care, to implement a one-stop system for the entire process from initial consultations on pregnancy, childrearing, and female-specific health to arrangements and appointments for telemedicine, telemedicine through video calls, and the delivery of prescriptions and the shipment of prescribed drugs.

The app fully supports its users to alleviate their concerns about their child’s health and maintain their mental health when exhausted from parenting. As such, it will relieve parents’ anxiety and loneliness so that they can raise their child in a healthy condition.

2) Medical examination and treatment: Telemedicine, issuing prescriptions, and picking up medicine (from affiliated pharmacies)

2. Online medical care support app, specializing in medical care for women

The app supports working women’s healthy life for them to live their life as who they are.

2) Medical examination and treatment: Telemedicine, issuing prescriptions, and picking up medicine (from affiliated pharmacies)
3) Information and communication: Information specializing in women selected by doctors, and women’s community supervised by doctors

DOCTORS will develop these applications, taking advantage of Doctors Station® that combines online medical care teams, an online medical care system, and online medical operation and will aim to resolve essential medical issues.
