In recent years, boosted by the advent of a super-aging society with a low birthrate and the outbreak of COVID-19, the number of companies that are trying to enter new markets by developing digital healthcare services using medical care and the cloud has greatly increased. However, cloud services that deal with medical information are required to comply with national guidelines that stipulate how medical institutions should use the cloud safely. Therefore, it is true that such compliance is still one of the major barriers for companies that are trying to enter new markets.
In this collaboration, DOCTORS, which has knowledge of approximately 400 expert doctors and specialists, will plan and propose initiatives for companies from the perspective of the clinical setting, while Canon ITS, which has a wide range of expertise and solid knowledge in medical information and IT, will provide services utilizing the cloud by which the two companies will achieve highly useful digital healthcare services that are directly linked to the needs of the medical front.
In order for companies trying to enter the digital health field to develop a new digital healthcare service with no divergence from the real opinions on the medical front, DOCTORS will provide comprehensive support from business strategies to the establishment of distribution channels, and Canon ITS will engage in each phase from the planning of services to IT designing and development to management, operation and maintenance, and to cloud implementation of medical information. The two companies will collaborate with each other to provide value to their clients through co-creation between the companies.
